We are OUTSTANDING again!
The Queen's orchard
Year 2 have celebrated their 50 certificate treat last Friday with a beach day and a visit from the ice cream van.
Year 2 have represented Crescent at a football tournament last week and won. Well done year 2!
The children in Year 2 had a wonderful time learning lots of interesting facts about the history of coal mining whilst on a trip to Pleasley Pit last week. We explored what life would be like as a miner and loved trying on all of the different equipment! The children were amazed by our local history, the project has been a huge success!
Ben Bradley (MP) has invited schools to take part in a 'Card for the Queen' competition. "I would like your school to get involved in celebrating her historic reign by designing a card for me to send to her majesty on behalf of Mansfield, so we can congratulate her for her years of public service". The cards will be shortlisted by Ben Bradley and the final winner selected by the Duchess of Cambridge!! Have a look at some of the amazing cards below!

Thanks to the Big Lottery Fund who gave school a grant to purchase a much needed KS1 play tower through our project 'Active!' Thank you to the company 'Fawns play' who installed the play tower in the Spring of 2015.
