We are all looking forward to a really exciting Summer Term.
During this term, we will attempt to answer the question
‘Where in the world is South America?’
Our English work this term will be based around our geography topic all about South America. We will look at different genres including narratives, poetry and reports. We will also do work based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. As usual, we will continue to work on Rainbow Grammar and handwriting as well.
Our class book will be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
In maths, we will be spending a lot of time studying fractions and decimals but we are also learning about statistics, shape and measures. We always include lots of mastery, problem solving and reasoning activities in our lessons. We will also continue to work on our mental maths skills and times table knowledge.
