Join Our Outstanding Primary School and Make a Lasting Difference!

Due to the retirement of our current Site Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and highly motivated Site Manager to join our warm and thriving primary school community from 1.8.26. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring our school remains a safe and welcoming environment for all pupils, staff, and visitors.

As a key member of our team, you will take pride in maintaining our school grounds and buildings to the highest standard. You will oversee the day‑to‑day management of the site, including security, health and safety, maintenance, compliance checks, and the coordination of contractors. Good DIY skills and a hands‑on, can‑do approach will be essential as you carry out minor repairs, improvements, and practical tasks across the school.

We are looking for someone who is practical and organised—someone who enjoys variety in their work and can respond calmly and confidently to the unexpected. You will oversee a team of 4 cleaning staff including a Cleaner in Charge and work closely with the School Business Manager and Headteacher.  You will be required to be responsive to alarm call outs and available to undertake some evening & weekend lettings along with some of the school holidays when activities and building/maintenance projects are carried out.

In return, we offer a supportive, forward‑thinking school with a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development. You will join a friendly, dedicated team who are passionate about making a difference every day.

If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a caring and collaborative environment, and want to contribute to the success of an outstanding school, we would love to hear from you.

Application forms and further details for the above post can be obtained from the school office, by sending an email to Angela Brown (School Business Manager) recruitment@crescent.notts.sch.uk

Visits are highly recommended prior to applying so we encourage all applicants to arrange this and come and look around to see if this role is for you!
