Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place from 5-9 February 2024 and is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on and raise awareness for children and young people’s mental health. As a school community, we will be encouraging all students and staff to dress in a way to express themselves that makes them happy ie; football, dancing, pop star or in bright colours on Tuesday 6th February 2024.
After school we will be holding a bake sale and have a photo booth set up for taking photos ~ please join us on the middle playground on Tuesday 6th February.
It’s an opportunity for self-expression and celebrating a diverse range of emotions. The day also provides a great opportunity to be open about mental health and start conversations within our school community. Throughout the week, children will be involved in lots of lovely activities that support Children’s mental health and their understanding of ways to express, talk about and manage their emotions.
We’re delighted to be hosting Children’s Mental Health Week.
