As ‘thinkers’ in PE we hope for children to be able to make simple decisions and be aware of what they need to improve. They will be creative when using and developing skills and tactics in simple sequences and activities.
As ‘participants’ in PE we hope for children to develop fundamental movement skills and become increasingly competent and confident and access a broad range of opportunities. They will extend agility, balance and co-ordination, individually and with others. They will engage in competitive (against self and others) and cooperative physical activities in a range of increasingly challenging situations.
As a result, we hope for all children to be able to engage in competitive (against self and others) and cooperative physical activities in a range of increasingly challenging situations. Also be keen to participate in activities and clubs in school and in the wider community.
