They are encouraged to be able to articulate their understanding of scientific concepts and be able to reason scientifically using vocabulary linked to science.
They will use a range of skills linked to other areas of the curriculum such as organising, recording and interpreting results., working collaboratively and practically to investigate and experiment. 'Creating Connections’ curriculum driver We want the children to achieve age related expectations in Science at the end of their cohort year. A monitoring and triangulation timetable is in place to identify and rectify any issues that arise to ensure that the children receive the most effective provision.
