Crescent Primary School was formed in 2001 by amalgamating the former Bull Farm First School with the newer buildings previously occupied by Bull Farm Middle School. Children are admitted into main school at the beginning of September after their fourth birthday. Our current planned admission number (PAN) is 60.
We currently have a Nursery for 3-4 year olds 'Hedgehogs' (part-time) and 30 hours provision - Hoglets.
We have 2 reception classes 'Owls' and 'Robins'.
We have 4 KS1 classes - Manta Rays and Turtles (Y1) and Starfish and Dolphins (Y2)
We have 8 KS2 classes - Lemurs and Crocodiles (Y3), Meerkats and Buffaloes (Y4), Cheetahs and Lions (Y5) and Jaguars and Leopards (Y6)
The school is part of the Queen Elizabeth family of schools. The children transfer at the end of Year 6 to the secondary school of choice eg.Queen Elizabeth Academy & All Saints Catholic Voluntary Academy.
Morning session - 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m
Afternoon session - 12.20 p.m. to 3.20 p.m
Main School times:
Starts at 8.50 a.m (doors open at 8.40am)
Main school finishes at 3.10 p.m
At 8.50 a.m the outer doors are closed for security reasons. Parents and visitors to the school should enter by the front reception door, after pressing the buzzer to gain entry and reporting to the office.
There is a break of 50 minutes for lunch for all children in main school.
Playtime is 15 minutes in the morning for all main school children and 10 minutes in the afternoon for KS1.
School is open for a total of 31 hours and 40 minutes per week.
We offer Wrap Around Care;
Breakfast Club - 7.30 till the start of the school day at £2 per a session.
Afterschool Care - 3.10-4.30 & 4.30 -5.30 at £4 a session.
Drop off and collection is from the main reception door.
