About Friends of Crescent Primary School (FOCPS)

Friends of Crescent are a group of parents/carers and staff who volunteer their time and meet together over a cuppa to talk about fundraising events and ideas for the future. This fundraising helps to purchase 'extra' things for all our children such as additional play equipment, treats and prizes and most of the 'free' fun activities that we like to provide our pupils at Christmas time, year 6 leavers and many rewards etc..

Information on up and coming events will be posted on this page and on Facebook/ twitter.

We really need new parents/carers to join us and help school to continue to organise amazing fundraising events such as Summer & Christmas Fairs, clothing collections, Disco's, Easter raffles etc. We also work closely with School Ambassadors who keep us up-to-date with the views of all the children in school and how we can help support them with their ideas.
 

If you are interested in helping to fundraise for our school, please speak to the school office who will be happy to talk to you about the group and inform you of up coming dates for meetings and events. All the help we receive in school from volunteers for our fundraising events has a direct impact on the success of them, as you will see from photographs of our fabulous events displayed on our Friends of Crescent Facebook page and in the school newsletter. 

We greatly appreciate all of your helping hands and hard work and are looking forward to our next meeting where the group will be sharing ideas and planning for future fundraising events.

How it works….

1. Start at easyfundraising

Let’s say you want to buy a book from Amazon. Instead of going to Amazon.co.uk directly, you first go to easyfundraising.org.uk

2. Make a purchase

From the easyfundraising website, click through to Amazon to make your purchase. This tells Amazon you came from easyfundraising. The price of the book is exactly the same.

3. Get a donation

After you buy your book, Amazon will make a donation for your good cause. Easyfundraising automatically collect this and send it on to the school at no extra cost.

4. Get the easyfundraising Donation Reminder
