Makaton Club
For the rest of the Spring term and moving into the Summer term, Makaton club will be learning lots of key vocabulary which will help them hold a conversation in Makaton!
Here is a sneak peek at our timetable...
During the Spring term, Makaton club learned the signs to We're Going On A Bear Hunt! They performed what they had learned in front of KS2 assembly and their parents.
During the Autumn term, Makaton Club learned five Christmas songs! These were:
- Silent Night
- We Wish You A Merry Christmas
- When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney
- Little Donkey
- Little Drummer Boy
They performed these during two assemblies in school, one of which, they invited their parents to! Makaton Club were also lucky enough to be invited to perform at St Augustine's church as part of year three's carol concert.
