At the end of Foundation Stage, children will be able to identify how they are feeling and begin to vocalise this. They will be able to distinguish between feelings and, with support, be sensitive to them. Children will also begin to identify how others are feeling too. Children will begin to make positive relationships with their peers and familiar adults. They will be able to use these positive relationships to regulate their behaviour accordingly. They will know the reason for rules and know what is right and wrong.
