Our youngest children will leave EYFS with a variety of new skills and a zest for their future roles as artists. They can select the correct tools and materials for a given purpose, mixing colours as needed. They are becoming more reflective artists, building on their previous learning, refining their ideas and developing their ability to represent them. Experimenting with colour, design and texture our children explore a variety of materials, tools and techniques safely and with developing confidence, care and accuracy. Our EYFS artists are more independent following their experimentation in continuous provision and leave ready to continue their journey in Key Stage 1.
